"The cottage was fantastic. Had all the amenities. It was in a quiet neighborhood, with a view of a golf course, but easy driving distance to the Volcanoes National Park and the town of Volcano. We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. "

"The cottage was actually better than expected! Great location right near the park entrance and in a secluded and beautiful jungle neighborhood. The cottage was super clean and very well stocked. "Having never stayed in a Yurt of grid i was Amazed at how nice it was. I followed the rule of laundry during the day and had no issues. I titled this country because of the chickens and dogs, if you want a quite nights rest this isn't for you. If you are used to dogs barking and roasters crowingfrom 3am on then you'll be fine. I actually Loved it there!!PS, pool had funky ladder to get in and didn't seem worth the risk But that's what the beach is for.!!Again i Loved it and would Highly...

"Unique farmhouse property with a lovely sunporch overlooking the pond and farm. Surrounded by friendly goats and assorted geese, ducks, chickens, roosters, farm cats and a pig nicknamed “Vlad the Destroyer”. Great freshly-made breakfasts, too. "

"Perfect location for 2 people visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Staying this close made it easy to get to the park to see the latest eruption. The garden on site is beautiful. Some other reviews complained about not having hot water, the host clearly states it takes a while, so just give it time. And yes we saw a spider, took two seconds to remedy that. It's in the middle of a rainforest which is beautiful, but if you want to be in nature, you might just see nature. So don't let those reviews scare you off. We will definitely be recommending this place to friends and hope to stay again the next time we visit the park. "

"This home is the perfect location for exploring Volcanoes National Park. It was cozy, clean, spacious, and very well equipped. It had everything we needed. We loved the string lights on the front porch, electric fireplace, comfy beds, and chatty chickens in the yard. The owners thought of everything you could need - the coffee, shampoo and conditioner, and laundry detergent were really thoughtful touches to include.The home also offered privacy and solitude, yet it is located in a neighborhood close to the park and restaurants. The Jungalow was easily accessible coming from either Hilo or the Kona side. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to stay in the area. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay!"
