Just 15 minutes from Downtown Victoria, Langford, and the airport, it’s an ideal home base for exploring all that Greater Victoria has to offer. The suite overlooks a seasonal pool 🏊 (open June 1 to Sept 30) and leads out to a shared, enclosed backyard — a tranquil space featuring an outdoor kitchen, BBQ, and dining area 🍽️. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a meal, or soak up the sun. Surrounded by parks, trails, and close to bus stops, this peaceful retreat invites you to relax and recharge while staying well-connected to the city and nature. The Space: A comfortable private suite located on the lower level of a family home. It features two bedrooms with double beds and a pull-out couch in the living room for extra sleeping space. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing — a welcoming space that’s great for both adults and kids. Guest Access: The whole bottom floor suite is for guests. The back yard, pool and outdoor kitchen is shared with the home owners. We are often working or busy with non travel life so for most days you will have the backyard to yourself. The Neighborhood: Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, this area is peaceful and family-friendly — where the most common sounds are birds chirping 🐦 and children playing. It’s the perfect setting to relax, enjoy your morning coffee, or explore the nearby parks and trails 🌿. We live upstairs and are available if you need anything during your stay. The backyard and pool area are shared spaces 🏊‍♂️, and we check in on them daily to ensure everything is clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. You might see us around, but we always respect your space and privacy. Getting Around: There is plenty of parking on the road and there are several bus stops within a few minutes walk. Other Things to Note: The pool is closed for the winter. There is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. The pool is an in-ground pool over 10 feet deep at the deep end, so it’s not suitable for weak swimmers. The pool is shared, and during scheduled swim lessons, it is not available for guest use. No more than two lessons will be scheduled per day, and each will last no longer than one hour. Guests are welcome to use any of the pool toys or floaties in the backyard — no need to bring your own! Interaction with Guests: We live upstairs and are available anytime we are needed. Short stay and we were disappointed we could not take advantage of the outdoor pool and BBQ/Games/TV area as the weather did not cooperate. It would be a fun place to entertain and relax. It was a quiet neighbourhood but also convenient to the Downtown, shopping and UVic via vehicle. Malisa welcomed us and was available for our needs.
