My kids declared this the best Vermont house we've ever stayed in (we go every year, we've stayed at a lot of houses). It's rural enough, while still being close to things you need. Waitsfield is a great town - lots of stores and restaurants. Easy drive to Burlington. But more importantly - the house is just great.
