"Reception staff were a delight; provided comprehensive overview of hotel and facilities on arrival; very welcoming too; nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. Bar staff amiable and efficient. Room upgraded at no cost which was a welcome surprise. A comfortable nights sleep was experienced in a clean well maintained room. Will definately stay here again. Thanks to the Hotel team who clearly work well together :) Top marks..."
"A clean , comfortable hotel at a good price. Excellent staff and products. Room was clean and well appointed. The bathroom was well stocked with bathing products but could really have benefited from a small revamp. Shower head had alot of lime scale and the toilet wouldn't fully flush. I would definitely recommend. "
"Room was clean and comfortable. I can understand the complaints about the room being warm but it did not bother me as a fan was provided in the room which was fine. Very convenient for Humber Bridge walk and Hull City Park n Ride. The whole feel of the place would be greatly improved by investing in ground keeping, weed spraying etc. Breakfast was ok for the price. I would stay there again. "

"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "
