The room was well appointed, but dividing was to larger rooms next my room was like paper (questionable if any sound proofing and being in historic building does not stop this). Also the guest the next room were very anti-socail playing TV very loud and makes lots of unnecessary noise. The hotel has no reception and very difficult to get help, in very wild and lively pub. They were not interested even when pub closed in the morning to be told of issue. It’s an old building so it had little steps to watch out for. So much variety for breakfast - cooked to order hot food, pastries, yoghurts etc. Some evenings it was a bit noisy outside but not for long and it is an Inn / pub. Parked 4pm-10am for free outside the cathedral. The White Hart is a stunning Grade 1 listed building with beautiful cozy decor. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and they had a fantastic food & range of beers & ciders (locally sourced)! It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace.
