Manor House Hotel
Hotel grounds were lovely. Booked mainly to use the gym but it was £20 extra and didn’t open till 8am (so not ideal if staying for business - but I should’ve checked prior). Bathrooms could do with a refresh.

Lumley Castle Hotel
Really didn't enjoy our stay. The room was dirty especially around the windows and in poor state of repair with multiple chips in the basin. We had to climb a very old spiral staircase to get to the room which would be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. Finally we were given a choice of breakfast ...

Delta Hotels Durham Royal County
For a Marriott it was pretty poorly. Got an upgrade to a room with a name, but the sink was cracked, holes in the towels, terrible pillows

Durham Retreat 15 minutes walk from Durham City center.
Great place for visiting Durham with easy access to the center. Nice clean place with everything we needed.

The Bothy-Detached cottage,1 mile from Barnard Castle, Pet Friendly, EV Charger
