We had a poor experience here. The heating in the cottage didn't work, so we were uncomfortably cold throughout our stay. We asked for help as soon as we checked in, but the host was unresponsive. There were small beetles in the bed, there was a leak from the base of the toilet, and the front door lock was faulty, so locking and unlocking the front door was tricky. Everything felt damp. We haven't heard anything back from the host when we identified these issues.

Gorgeous stay at the cottage with my partner,it was incredibly clean,the amenities were superb,will definitely be booking and staying again in the near future for a little escape.

Stayed for 3 nights over New Year...was absolute bliss.
Late booking and the communication was brilliant to get it sorted.
Cottage was immaculate throughout with everything we needed.
Perfect location for walks, and yet only 5 minutes from shops and Durham centre

Stayed here before these were apartments, no idea how the owners have done it tbh,now has a little settee and separate bedroom which is en-suite, also a small but well stocked kitchen even has a little dishwasher if your staying longer than 1 night
