No breakfast. No staff on site. No information was provided at the hotel to help us find things in the area. We were not informed that this was a "self check in hotel" until after the cancellation date. Calling the Heritage office (off site) for assistance was useless as the staff could not answer our questions. The common areas were sparsely furnished and shabby. The outside deck area hadn't been swept in quite a while. The deck furniture was in bad shape. We found unlocked exterior doors nearly every time we returned to the hotel. Its a little different than a normal inn or BandB as there is no front desk of inn keeper on site. You check in at the Hermitage and you can go there for breakfast, dinner, bar, and use the guest facilities. Its a little pricey for this type of property but the access to the hermitage makes it a pretty good value. However the fact that the Inn is administered by the Hermitage club which is 5 miles away made things a little inconvenient when it came time to check in and out (there was no one on site, you have to check in at the club house). This place is about a five minute drive to Mount Snow. When checking in don't go to the Snowgoose Inn first,you need to first report to the Hermitage to get your key.
