"Neat little Mom and Pop hotel on the edge of Shawnee National Forest. Very few perks, no breakfast or pool, but solid internet and there's a great BBQ place right down the road. We will be back."

"This is our second time staying here. It is close to great hiking and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. It is a beautiful property! Everything is very clean and comfortable. We enjoy fishing on the lake and the very nice fire pit area. The owner checked in to make sure everything was good. He is friendly and you can tell he takes great pride in the property. We will definitely go back!"

"We did not have a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked clean.Cabin was very clean and also had extra cleaning supplies for us to use.Cabin was on a side road in a quiet area. Very close to a lot of the attractions! Would recommend! "

"Very nice, comfortable home and we enjoyed playing pool in the evenings. We didn't have a chance to try out the hot tub but the back deck area would have been a nice place to hang out if we had stayed there longer. It was a convenient place to stay while checking out Shawnee National Forest and Big City State Park."
