Great cabin on piste for family of 4

Great cabin, excellent and convenient ski in/out location. Resort grocery/ market place is waking distance. Only negative is the hot tub was only 60 degrees at check in and 92 degrees the second night. Took about 30 hours to warm up to a comfortable temperature to use.

The stay was very nice, and the accomodations were nice. The cabin was very cozy and we had a wonderful time staying there. The house had good heating and it was never extremely hot or cold. Also the furniture and beds were comfortable.

Such a delight!

This cabin is adorable! So well done, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities! We had a fantastic time, and the ski-in/ski-out was absolutely perfect. We look forward to booking it again!

Cute cabin with perfect location

As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the location of this cabin, and how clean and cute the cabin was inside! It looks exactly like the photos provided and was extremely cozy with the fireplace and views of the mountains. The check in and check out process was straight forward and easy to follow. Close to downtown whitefish, glacier and incredible hiking trails.

Great cabin

Great location to lifts and gorgeous views. Loved having the private hot tub right there. Property manager was responsive and accessible. Charming decor and comfy beds with everything you need. Get a car with decent traction to get up the street, otherwise perfect! Definitely will be back!

Cozy and Slopeside

Great place extremely close to Chair 3 for easy ski in/ski out access. Also a very short walk to the village. It's a small place, but there was plenty of room for two of us. Four people would work great as well. Maxing out at 6 would be pretty tight. Would recommend strongly for a couple or family of four.

Ski Weekend at Whitefish

Generally as advertised, steps from the slope and a great little ski cabin. Our only surprise was the huge condos under construction behind the building (and by the hot tub) which weren’t reflected in the photos. Not really a negative, just felt crowded behind the cabin.

Great Summer time "Hike In/ Hike Out"

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin two. Everything went well. The main level bathroom door could use top track adjustment so that it would not go past the floor stop. The cabin had everything our family of 4 needed. It was a very cozy and comfortable. I noticed that the other outside deck on the front had small drink tables with the chairs, while not necessary, that would be a nice add. Thanks again, we would stay again in any of the 4 Black bear Cabins. Thanks!

Cabin Getaway

The cabin was beautiful, rustic but comfortable and cozy. It was very well stocked, everything we needed, and the mangers are very helpful and responsive. It’s literally 100 yards from Chair 3 and a short walk to restaurants and stores. We didn’t have to start the trick for three days! Only downside was not the property owners fault, somebody is building condos like an arms length from the back fence. They are super tall! But the view out the front is magnificent. We will be back.

Cozy Cabin Ideally Located

Greetings Prospective Lodger. Black Bear Cabin #2 is located literally 30 seconds from the piste making for the perfect basecamp during our adventure to WMR. The property has everything you need for a cozy snowbound adventure; Full Kitchen, BBQ, Gas Fireplace, Fluffy Sofa, Soft Bedding, Claw Foot Tub, Washer & Dryer and to top it off a private Hot Tub with privacy fence. It is very cozy but not cramped, best for couples or small families. If I were to visit here with strictly friends I would limit to 4 people max eliminating the need to double up in any bed...6 people is the stated limit which requires doubling up in the master bed and sleeper sofa. I could not be more pleased with our experience...will be booking a week for next year to make this an annual tradition.

Nice place. But could have been cleaner

Nice location on the mountain. Easy to get to. Looks recently renovated. Comforters and extra blankets by the couch were dirty ( we tossed them to the side) The AC was frozen when we got there and water was dripping on the kitchen counter so we had to shut it off I'm 90 degree days weather (it was hot) . Also lighting on the outside stairs would be helpful, theu were hard to see at might with the porch light even. Beautifully area!

Location, Location, Location

Location was ideal for skiing. Communication was excellent. The cabin worked great for our family of 3. Two adults and a 10 year old. I think it would be challenging with more than 4 to be comfortable with luggage and storage and not feeling on top of each other. It’s a very communal living space, so you hear every move which for us was good. With that, we really thought the cabin was great. Walking distance to Bierstube and rental which was great and easy, ski in and out. You can’t beat this location and the cabin is very neat, organized and well appointed. One thing to consider is it’s very dry in the cabin is having some humidifiers accessible. We couldn’t believe how dry it was. Thanks for the stay. We had a great stay.
