“The property was just as stated, had an issue getting into property but Amber fixed the issue fast. We had absolutely no issues other than what I mentioned and taht wasn't really an sisue just an oops, overall our spur of the moment weekend getaway was great dispite the rain when driving there. We will rent again, thanks for having us!”

Thinking that the box was on the outside of the house, walked around for a hood twenty minutes before realizing that the box might be inside the house. That was keystone cop moment. “We came up to explore the Lake Huron side of the state, and this location was perfect. Some days we went south, and some north, and everything was within 30-40 minutes. The home is very clean, and well supplied. We particularly appreciated the coffee supplies, washer and dryer and being allowed to bring our greyhounds. The only negative was road noise, but once I found the white noise maker and plugged it in, and found a setting we liked, we didn't notice the road noise as much. Our first night...

“We had the most perfect stay. We had 2 families with 3 children (all 2.5 and under). We had a fenced in yard for the kids to play, our own quiet space for each family, plenty of fun, relaxing accomidations for the adults for when the kiddos were sleeping. A quick walk to the beach,and within easy driving distance to lots of parks and resturants in town. The additional precheck in communication with the hosts was so helpful. “Cute, older little house. Perfect for a quick weekend trip. Only a block from town which offers shopping, and restaurants. Close to pier and beach. Great option if you don’t mind not staying on the lake. Enjoyed the campfire and laundry provided. Downsides: small fridge, no propane for grill, narrow driveway due to trees, and upstairs is extremely hot (unit could not keep bedroom cold).”

“The house and property are lovely. The house is very clean and has everything that you could need, including dishes, cookware, linens, appliances and a washer and dryer. And more! My family and I were very comfortable there and had a great week together. The host is very kind and is generous with his time in showing and explaining things to us about the house and boat. We spent a week in this vacation home last year and hope to come back next year.”

“We were there to golf so we didn't get much time to enjoy but it was very comfortable (maybe a bigger bed would be nice but none the less comfy) and had everything we needed including a beautiful view of the lake!”

The quality of the cleanliness & very new carpet gives the whole place a clean & fresh appearance. Kitchen is adequate with all new appliances. But it is small, especially the frig. I would make sure to have a cooler for the porch to keep drinks in if you are bringing in much food or beverage.
