“The cottage is exactly as described. The setup with the bathroom between the two bedrooms is great, and we appreciated the restaurant recommendations. Excellent location for birding in the State Park, and seeing a little group of red-breasted mergansers floating on the lake—while taking the dog around the property for a last little walk before we left—was a bonus.”

“Pictures show a lake view. That is the view of the home owner. Thick wildfires and hot weather made the accommodations unlivable. Smoke filled the cabin. Asked for a refund from host based on environmental conditions and they simply replied that no refunds are issued for weather. They recommended I cancel the cabin stay with no refund because I was not a good fit for their property.”
