Learn more about Willcox

Cowboy culture and wine tasting collide in this small desert town, where you can explore the Rex Allen Museum or sample local vintages. Nearby, Chiricahua National Monument's 'Standing Up Rocks' offer hiking trails and rock formations that'll make you feel like you're on another planet.

This is just off the Echo Canyon Trail, we found an interesting cave-like formation and climbed to the top to get this amazing overview. These formed when volcanic ash settled and hardened in the area after which water and wind eroded away the weaker parts, leaving behind huge towers of rock. After visiting this it right up there with Zion and Yosemite as some of my favorite places to hike.
