"This inn had gorgeous views of the river and of Denali in the distance. It was right on the water’s edge. In addition, we loved how it was walkable distance from all the stores, activities, and restaurants. It does have more of a rustic feel, with older carpets and furniture. However, the room and bathroom were very clean and we had a nice stay. I would just say don’t come expecting a posh and chic bed and biscuit type stay! You will be getting a very authentic Talkeetna experience! "

"I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. The location. The staff the dining. All just fantastic. I will be returning. One piece of advice. Pay the extra for a Denali view. It’s worth it if the weather cooperates. "

"This is a "10" out of 5 place to stay. Property is New, or Like Brand New. We had a small issue, and they were very responsive and took care of the issue very quickly. We have suggested this property and the surrounding locations they have as a great location for a men's or women's gathering, retreat, group get away. We plan on going back. "

"The wind cabin was our home away from home. 4 of us traveling together and we had a good amount of space, clean, excellent amenities and convenient to town. Communication was clear and efficient. Felt very prepared and welcomed for our time in Talkeetna. Essentially everything that we were looking for and it absolutely met or exceeded our expectations!! "

"We stayed two nights here and absolutely loved it! We travel a lot and this was definitely one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed in a while! Deb and her husband are great hosts and made our stay very enjoyable! We enjoyed coffee and banana bread (that Deb made and left for us!) on the porch and looked at the beautiful view. We’ll definitely be back if we’re in town again! "
