We liked this a lot. It reminded me of cottages on lakes when I was young. Great setting next to Talkeetna River and great view of Denali on clear day when walk to river. We enjoyed this inn more than other "fancier" places in Alaska.

Excellent in everything! Very clean, cozy,, comfy beds, plenty of hot water for showers, easy and quick check in/out. Staff was great and helpful. Property was more than expected. There are lawn chairs, picnic tables, lawn games to play, fire to make at night, free coffee in morning. This hotel is 1 block from town and 100 yards for the best view of Denali!! Stay was amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Super comfortable bed! Very clean room! Beautiful surroundings. Only possible problem would be if neighboring guests are loud, you can hear them.

No frills. It’s a bed, a shower, and a place to park. Good enough for the price and location. Beautiful riverfront property, walkable to main street and friendly staff. Bring ear plugs and a sleep mask. The on site bar has reasonable prices and seems to be where many locals go. They had $5 dinners during the week to raise money for the town’s NYE fireworks.

Old facility a bit run down. No air conditioning, no blackout blinds, one small fan not sufficient to move the air around the room. Many of the staff smoked around the property and the scent seemed to be everywhere.

Great location, the river is right in the backyard and you are a 2 minute walk to Mainstreet. The grounds are well kept with plenty of seating to lounge or play games (there was even a tetherball). The room was clean and comfortable. The negatives are it is a little dated and there wasn't a tv in the room. James at the front desk was fantastic and bumped this review from a 4 to a 5!

Property itself is nice with tables and chairs outside as well as bags, badminton, ladder ball, etc. Rooms are small and very dated and could use some updating. Location made those issues feel minort

Adorable town! We were passing through and didn’t get the opportunity to go shopping. Not a fan of the twin beds, but that is all they had. Room was much smaller than I expected.

The location by the Sutsina River is ideal allowing for quick access to the hiking trail along the river with outstanding view of the Denali range. We had a clear sunny day as a bonus. The room is small but clean with all basic necessities except a TV. We had a quiet one night-stay and the day after hotel staff offered a free shuttle to our motor coach pick-up site about 2 miles away. Couldn’t ask for better service!
