Great character filled accommodation set within Natural terrain, yet within reach of civilisation. Well looked after property, excellent service from everyone - from Reception to Bar to Restaurant to breakfast. One of the best.
We enjoyed overnight stay clean and service excellent, best breakfast l have had for a while . The fresh danish was still warm from the oven. Dinner was excellent too.

Overnight stay
Travelled up to Windermere for a Wedding and booked a room for an overnight stay. Arrived at the hotel and breezed through check in and were taken to our room by a friendly member of staff. The room (Skiddaw) was excellent and clean. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was really good too. Had a great nights sleep and a hearty breakfast in the morning. Perfect place to stay and would recommend.
