"This house was exactly what we wanted: a place where we could spend time with our son, daughter-in-law, and two young granddaughters. We could enjoy ourselves simply by staying "at home" (in the rental) or by going out to enjoy all the beautiful sights of this area. The location was quiet and private, yet easily accessible. We went to the community pool for the little ones to swim; it was nice and clean. All of us enjoyed the hot tub. The house was all that we hoped for-- a great place to make great memories to last a lifetime!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Chestnut House! The pictures online were beautiful, but seeing it in person was even better. The picturesque landscape and the calming sounds of the Piney River truly made it feel like a slice of heaven.The host went above and beyond, providing unexpected extras like donuts, eggs, and popsicles. My 1-year-old and 5-year-old grandchildren had an absolute blast. We will definitely be returning!"

"I loved this property! I received a virtual check in that was thorough and went over all things I needed to know. A brand new nespresso maker with plenty of pod options. A modern shower head! They left chicken feed so I could feed the chickens! The winery was less than a 3 min drive. The property was beautiful! In the morning the chef prepared a delicious 4 course meal in the cozy kitchen located down stairs. They have a beautiful patio right off the kitchen dining room. Overall would love to stay again!"

"We loved Love Ridge Mountain Lodge, we stayed at the Kennedy Ridge! It was clean and well kept! Communication was great with the owners and everything is available in the home! Very peaceful and relaxing! We even met Chester! The property cat, she is loving and hung out with us for a bit! Awesome experience, if you are visiting or from Virginia we recommend the lodge! "

"This little inn was perfect for my overnight stay. The entire building had been renovated, so everything was updated with excellent features. My room was well appointed with a very comfortable leather reclining chair, desk, mini fridge/microwave and a host of complimentary beverages and snacks. Even the modern bathroom offered a basket full of toiletry supplies. This property is a hidden gem, and I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. It was a very pleasant departure from the large chain hotels I usually end up staying in."
