“We had a great time. It was a great little cabin, maybe a little tight at times for two adults and two 11 year olds, but overall the size was just fine. It's a very short drive to downtown Dells. If you forget to bring firewood like we did, they sell bundles at the main office, along with a bunch of other conveniences you may forget. The staff was extremely nice. The pool was very clean. I would absolutely book a cabin here again. ”

“We loved the location of the cabin, nice and private, quiet for relaxing, but also just a few minutes away from all the action . The wrap around porch was amazing, loved sitting out there with our coffee in the morning. We set our corn hole up on the porch and were able to play in the middle of a rain storm. It also worked as a storage area for our bikes. The kitchen was wonderful, had everything we needed. All in all a great week. Communication with the owners was great throughout the whole……

“Wonderful! So much more than we expected. Plenty of activities available at the cabin and through out Door county. Cabin had everything you could possibly need. Loved the game room and firepit area. Met the owner once during our stay, very nice gentleman! Did inform us there was a problem with their cell phones but could reach them thru the Log Den (their restaurant) felt guilty not vacuming up or stripping beds before leaving but thats me.( he said it wasn't necessary, they'd take care of……

“The views and cabin itself were GREAT! One of the best places we have stayed that fit everyone comfortably. Weather was nice enough we had a fire outside the first night. This VRBO was the first one we stayed at that had EVERYTHING. Bathroom had shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Kitchen had everything including crock pots (we brought our own), seasonings, blenders etc. We have been to past VRBOs that have bare min pots and pans and nothing extra. Since we were there for a few days in winter,……

“Excellent stay! Place was 1 block from town, close to everything we needed. House was exteremly well stocked! We have stayed in many VRBO's and this was one of the best. Would stay again!”

“This was our third stay at Roo Retreat for a relaxing winter long weekend. We love the proximity to Coyote Roadhouse and the short distance to the public lake access for ice skating or just walks on the ice. The house has plenty of space for us and our two teenagers to have our own space. We love making meals in the adorable kitchen, playing games in the dining room, and watching movies in the living room with a fire in the fireplace. We will be back. ”

“Love staying at this log cabin home! The kitchen has a wonderful view of the lake and the loft is spacious and cozy to play games or watch a movie! We loved swimming off of the dock and catching some walleye by boat nearby! Josh was excellent and always responded quickly with questions!”
