“This motel was excellent! Check in was easy and the gentleman was very helpful with a map of the area and dining suggestions. The room was very clean and bright, with a window from which you could see the ocean. I liked the table and chairs, where we could plan our next day and have a snack of our leftovers, reheated in the microwave. Tv had quite a few channels. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if ever in the area. ”
“This was our first time at Overleaf Lodge and we loved it. What a beautiful view from our third floor window. We had a quiet night with the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep. Friendly staff and well maintained facility. Elevators and bathroom grab bars were both were much appreciated.”
“It's an acceptable room to stay in if you need some rest after driving Highway 101 all day. It's not fancy at all, but it works. My room was very spacious, but there wasn't a lot of furniture, and they have the TV situated way too far away from the bed (like 25 feet). You'll have plenty of space to do some square dancing if you want, but you'll have to squint to see the TV. Hardwood floors instead of carpet. A lot of roadside inns are going that way these days, but I don't particularly like……
“The managers Lisa and Brian are super friendly. They are locals and helped us find cool fun spots for the fourth and easy beach access locations. This is a pet friendly spot with no issues, no extra hassle. Lisa let us borrow some camping chairs since we forgot ours in Washington which was nice. For what we paid we are happy. We spent most of our stay out and about but the room included clean towels, sheets, soap etc. Wifi worked and we had no issues whatsoever. Not crazy fancy but clean, secure……
“Wonderful stay! Everyone was so kind and accommodating! My dog received a cute doggie bag as a welcome gift with treats, bowls, a blanket, and a travel water bottle. Everything was clean and fresh - the remodel is beautiful and the upgrades were amazing. The bed was incredibly comfortable and had so many down pillows! Staff were helpful and friendly any time I needed something and gave me multiple dinner suggestions. I ended up eating at the hotel restaurant on the dog-friendly patio. It was……

"The staff is so nice and wonderful, but the room is really not good. The room has a musty smell. And, I ordered a balcony room for the beautiful beach view. However, many people just smoked at their balcony. I can’t really enjoy the view outside. I paid over $300 for one night. It is really not worth the price. "
