We enjoyed our stay. I do have a suggestion to upgrade the toilet in the bathroom, it was very old and small, not the most comfortable to use. I recommend an oblong and ADA height. I’m not someone who takes the time to review place but when I woke up, I told my partner I was going to leave a review. I should start by saying we got in late at night after sunset and left very early in the morning. If there was breakfast, we didn’t get a chance to try it. The front desk staff in the evening was incredibly friendly, warm, and greeted with a big smile. Was happy to give recommendations for dinner when I asked. She was wonderful. We were so tired, we watched a little TV in bed before quickly falling asleep. I dont sleep well when I’m away from home but this bed was 10/10 SP COMFORTABLE! And the pillows… I questioned if I could ask to buy one. I have never slept more comfortably in a hotel in my life and I travel fairly often. In the morning, I woke up to see just how beautiful our view was. You have to get a room with a balcony facing the water! I watched a couple of harbor seals (just feet away!) and the shore birds in the very short time I had before we had to pack up and go to continue on our road trip. I am so sad we were in a rush to leave because this place was amazing. Our shower had old holes in the wall where the old curtain used to hang. No attempt to cover/repair it. Also floors are thin, could hear people upstairs walking around at 2am. Beds were comfortable & loved the deck overlooking the river. Staff was super nice & very helpful which is what made me score this a 4\.
