"Great little pub. Surprisingly spacious and modern rooms. Food and beverage selection was excellent and service very fiendly and welcoming. On the downside the pub entrance was having some excations hence had to go around the back to enter - no doubt this will be fixed in the future. Also the wifi was a bit patchy in the room at times - but otherwise a pleasnat stay despite the incessant rain"

"The toilet was on the outside of the room which i was not expecting when i had booked a room with a private bathroom. The shower also steps onto carpet and there is no exhaust fan and no way to open the window which makes room quite humid when trying to straighten hair. Also concerned also the shower had some mould in it. The no exhaust fan with the shower being in the room could lead to mould problems in the future. Otherwise okay"

"This was a beautiful property. The surrounding area was picturebook. We had a very good meal and a good, comfortable sleep. My only issue is the roads were very difficult getting there, so I could not recommend to a tourist with no experience with the narrow roads and remote location."

It’s a perfect location to explore the area without the noise and crowds in the tourist towns nearby. We used the sauna and heated pool each day. The views from the terrace are simply lovely. "Hotel was well situated in the heart of the village, easy to locate with plenty of onsite parking. Next door to a great pub with good food. Room was very clean and tidy with a sea view. Breakfast was really good. Very friendly place, would definitely stay again if in the area. "

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "
