The property has a charm .... its location is also a plus since it is on The Grand Canal. It could also use further upgrading... a lobby configuration that is freshened up and more conducive to sitting and watching the passers bye. the ventilation system is limited in that during the evening when I required cooling, I had to open windows for coolness... this allowed the late night street noise to come in. The BIGGEST plus is how friendly and helpful the vast majority of the staff was!!!

Elena at the front desk was very friendly and nice. She helped with reservations for the water taxi and she recommended great restaurants for us. Gigi at breakfast was awesome and so was Norma when it came to keeping our room nice and clean. Great hotel with an amazing staff, close to all the shopping and sights. Had an amazing vacation.

We were in Venice for just two nights and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Room was a bit cozy for two adults and two teens, but we didn’t mind. We slept well, the shower was quite nice, and the front desk staff were helpful and pleasant.
