The location is great and the rooms are clean and nicely appointed. However there’s one space on the curb to pull over and check in, and that was occupied so we had to drive a block and a half away and lug our bags back to the hotel. The lobby is tiny as is the alcove where you check in. Two large disorganized parties ahead of us; nowhere to sit or really even get out of the way of their mountains of luggage. Our room was on the third floor. Major renovations going on and they were working on the 4th floor, so constant hammering and drilling. No mention of this when we made our reservation. According to the website the hotel restaurant serves breakfast but it was locked up tight in the morning. If we had known about the noisy construction going on, we would have booked elsewhere.

The floors weren’t very clean but other things nicely remodeled. The beds were just a mattress on a box with no fitted sheet and a super light weight blanket not big enough to cover the bed with people in it. Limited pillows the couch has none. The fridge was nice but noisy and froze all my food even in the main area. The biggest issue despite the nice lobby and dinning area is that it felt unsafe to leave the hotel almost any time of day. So many homeless and closed down shops and smoke shops. Soup kitchen in the street less than a block away. The is hotel would be great if in a different area.
