Hello, Jessica at the front desk was extremely, extremely helpful, kind and courteous. Besides our interaction with her, our stay was less than desirable. I felt that the hotel misrepresented itself with the photos online, starting with the pool. There were very few seats available and no amenities. Also, our beds were extremely uncomfortable. Some of the reasons that prompted us to cancel our second night. We respectfully are requesting a refund. Also we were charged for parking when we had a handicap sign. I would also like to request to be refunded for that as well. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time there. The room was great, the service at the bar was excellent. The pool was gorgeous. We enjoyed swimming and lounging in the pool. We also enjoyed the swing and chairs by the creek. We also had a 90 minute couples massage and it was divine. The amenities at the spa were amazing.

The property itself has charm, but a few issues really impacted our stay. Most notably, we found two roaches in our room and they were German cockroaches, not the "palmetto bugs" staff tried to attribute to recent palm tree trimming nearby. To their credit, staff did acknowledge that explanation wasn't really an excuse, but the resolution fell short: we were told housekeeping wouldn't address it until checkout (which was the next day), meaning we had to deal with it for the remainder of our stay. The pool area was another letdown. The travertine around our lounge chairs was so dirty that our bare feet came away caked in what felt like mud. We also noticed food wrappers left in the bushes nearby. I understand the property was busier and a bit messier due to the holiday, but these details added up to an overall impression of inattentiveness. On a smaller note, the toilet paper provided was almost comically thin; barely qualifying as 1-ply. A small thing, but it fit the pattern of quality control not being where it should be for a resort at this level. To be fair, the staff themselves were pleasant and courteous throughout our stay and the issues felt more systemic than a reflection of the people working there.

Staying at the Royal Palms is magical! We love it here! The pool is amazing and the staff are great! Dining at T.Cooks was lovely.

Room was very cold. And the elevators broke down on 2 days. The restaurants were wonderful and the amenities wre 1st class. Whole 4th of July celebration was outstanding. Will definitely go back.
