Great value for money, terrific location. During this visit to Bali we stayed in a 5 star luxury hotel, a ‘6 star’ private villa and here at the Balangan Surf Resort. The others were great, but value for money wise, this was a standout, not mention that the room was great! Quiet but efficient AC, multi voltage wall outlets with USB ports, and the best shower of any of them.

Argus was great! He even gave us a ride to the airport. Much appreciated.

This property is truly outstanding and very unique. The private pool is very large, super romantic, and a wonderful temperature. I travel all over the world and found this natural setting with two outdoor bathrooms to be so peaceful and relaxing that I have already rebooked and recommended to friends. I find the Belmond one of the best properties in Bali - even when compared to the hot names in seminyak or nusa dua. We stayed here about six different times in all seasons - and unlike most other places - they're just getting better (not falling apart). Do ask for the sea facing cottage for some 50$ well spent.

Nice Hotel. All the staff members were helpful and courteous except the Reception staff who guided us wrongly on check out date. We had explained to them on check out day that we had 4 suitcase and two hand bags and the lady at the reception said that it could fit in a taxi. When the taxi came we were forced to take two taxis instead of one due to staff incompetence. Shower could have been hotter, but that's minor. Great hotel staff. They took care of us very well. They made hearty breakfast for us everyday. There is also a complimentary oneway shuttle to nearby Kuta. They can also arrange any day trips. Beach is nearby ( 1 or 2 min walk ) with all beach towel supply etc. The private plunge pool is also great.

This was probably the best vacation me and my husband had. It was the perfect honeymoon spot. We stayed for 10 days. Hotel staff were excellent...very friendly and helpful. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, and communicative via email.The villa itself was clean and cozy. The food from their restaurant was delicious. The beach which has a variety of cafés and restaurants is only a 15 minute walk from there too. Which also along the walk you will be able to find stores that sell snacks, bottled water, and electrolyte drinks. Also they have a taxi service to take you to other various parts of Bali.
