The view is amazing for sunset, definitely worth to stay if u are going there. Hotel provide pick up from port and to airport, 25 euro each. 8-10mins walk to bus station to oia or fira. u can walk to fira as well for about 25 mins, not as difficult as u think. To begin with the wow factor when we arrived, the views are amazing. Everything was spotless, nothing was too much trouble, service was amazing. Reception were so helpful with organising a boat trip, booking airport transfers etc, generally giving recommendations. Very friendly. We had the honeymoon room with hot tub and would definitely recommend. We had room 18, it was at the bottom of the steps so had nobody below us and was very private. Uninterrupted views. Breakfast delivered to the room each morning, you select a time slot and what you would like from a list in reception the night before. Dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch to wear to eat breakfast on the balcony. Everything was perfect. We loved it and would definitely come back and recommend. The room was fantastic, super clean and had everything we could ask for. Everything we ordered from the menu was excellent. The only thing that matched the fabulous views was the staff. Every single person from the desk clerks, bar staff and cleaning staff are superb. We were well taken care of and deeply appreciate how helpful and friendly they were. I also can’t forget the wonderful gentleman that helps heave luggage up and down those massive steps. If you are considering staying in the area I highly recommend this hotel, don’t hesitate and booked it. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Bed comfy. The breakfast - delivered to our balcony each morning, was delicious (there was too much of it!). There is no onsite restaurant. The staff was efficient but not overly friendly. The bar and pool area were wonderful annd relaxing annd offered gorgeous views. Our private hot tub was appreciated on the hot days (when it seemed cooler) and on cooler mornings (when it seemed warmer). The view incredible. A single bottle of water was provided on day 1\. For the price of the hotel there should have been one provided daily as tap water is undrinkable. Towels were replaced daily (even when we hung them for reuse) so not a super eco friendly hotel. Tons of steps which some older folks seemed to struggle with (no elevator). Imerovigli is a great spot to stay- walkable to Thira but not as busy and overrun with tourists like Thira. We loved our stay and would happily return BUT our sense was that all the hotels in Santorini with a caldera view (which is nearly all the hotels in Santorini!) were a variation of the same. The view was breathtaking from our balcony. The breakfast delivered each morning to our balcony was some of the best food we had on our trip. The walking path from Fira to Oia passes right next to the property. The entire property is clean and beautiful. All staff are friendly and helpful. Our hosts Salome and Nikos couldn’t have been better.
