I had a wonderful flight. Smooth sailing, good service, etc. however, I was very disappointed by lack of "free" video screens! All other airlines I've traveled on either have individual screens or a drop down screen that is shared. I think it's very chintzy to charge $10 to rent an iPad to watch inflight entertainment. I was delighted to book a nonstop cross country flight (a rarity) until I found out I would have to "PAY" for inflight entertainment! I was also surprised Alaska Air did not offer any "free" snacks. The airlines are increasingly nickel and diming you for everything ...so now it's pretzels, too? I can't imagine you are that hard pressed that you can't afford to hand out a small bag of peanuts or pretzels. You take discount travel to a whole new level! Shame on you.
