9/10 Wonderful! (11 reviews)
Good location; walking distance to all amenities. Generally clean, however, the kitchen sink had some issues (loud gurgling sounds randomly) and emitted an odd smell. The apartment was older and a bit more rundown than the pictures suggested - couch was very worn and older carpeting. We also noticed many dead bugs (small carpet worms and carpet beetles) throughout the apartment which even after being cleaned up reappeared.

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,002 reviews)
It is a great hotel - the surge pricing because of event in Regina is why I gave a lower rating. I don't mind paying a bit of a premium, but the amount the room was increased was unreasonable in my opinion. Still - we paid it as we needed a place to sleep.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,008 reviews)
Grand old hotel that appears to be mostly in great condition. We were there for the Foo Fighters concert and check in was atrociously slow, although staff were friendly and polite. I waited half an hour alone to check in which is unacceptable in this day and age. We didn’t get a chance to inspect or get into our room until after the concert. One note that parking is somewhat confusing to get to if you aren’t familiar with Regina and it’s one way streets. The room was clean enough but there was a used plastic bottle cap in the floor between the bed and nightstand that should have been picked up. When we tried to turn on the reading lamps in the headboard as well as the bedside lamps in the nightstands, none of them worked. We called the front desk and someone came to check it out and to inspect the breaker. That didn’t work so they moved us to an executive suite. It was fine, bed and pillows comfy, quiet. One note is that the room temp in both rooms was set to a frosty 16 degrees C. I prefer a cool room at night but that was arctic. We were provided with complementary breakfast coupons by the wonderful young man who had assisted us with the attempted fix of the lights. We had the breakfast buffet which was OK. The made to order omelette was fantastic, however the hashbrowns were soggy, waffles cold and coffee tasted over-roasted. Should have ordered from the menu. Not sure I would stay again given the price and all we experienced. I expected more of this grand old hotel.
