Basmane Adults Only Vacations

The location to the airport is the most redeeming quality of this hotel. However, my room did not have a blanket or top sheet on the bed. The bed only had a fitted sheet and pillows. The rooms air conditioning did not work. The shower head fell off when I turned the water on. Besides for the bathroom lights, the only other lights in the room were tiny reading lights mounted to the wall above the bed. It was very dark. The wall paper/coverings were pealing off the walls. The place seemed clean… it was hot.. and no covers… I expected to at least have a top sheet on the bed..

We really enjoyed this property. This is our second visit; beautiful manicured lawn, friendly staff amazing food choices , even have a mineral pool and massage options.

The hotel was clean and the rooms were good. The staff were very good and helpful. Breakfast as also good. The location is tough to reach by car. The valet parking was good but there is not really a good place to stop in front of hotel. Our air conditioning went out on day two. They gave us another room which also the air conditioning did not work on room 3 we got one that did. The location is not great there are not many restaurants near by and you will need to take a taxi or drive with limited parking to go sees things. Staff were really awesome.

We stayed at both Yali (5 days) and Cactus Club Paradise (9 days) and for us Paradise was much quieter and easy to get around. Yali is much more active with many things to do for children. We would return to either hotel as we found everyone to be friendly and very helpful. Excellent place to enjoy your holiday.

Once again, we were welcomed warmly when we arrived and our car was swiftly taken from us and parked in the underground carpark. Our luggage was swiftly taken to reception where a very pleasant young man checked us in. The room was perfect except for the kettle which did not work. Breakfast, as always, was exceptional. We were pleased to see less seagulls pestering clients for food around the outdoor pool area. However, there seemed to be less large parasols around the pool this visit, and several flimsy lightweight ones that were blowing over in the wind. We had to hold ours in place by hand. Unfortunately, not the relaxing afternoon that we had anticipated. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved before our next visit.

Decent hardware. Some staff clearly didn't care. Servers cloths was very dirty after breakfast (I normally ordered food after the breakfast was completed). The person who checked me in was very friendly and service minded. The pool are had a person who absolutely didn't care, the towels where floating around and they didnt seem to have any system for cleaning this. Would probably not stay at this location on my next visit.
