Matra Beach Vacations

All was a great experience thank you. Location is really good.

Beautiful boutique hotel on a beautiful street, rooms are very very clean and the shower is amazing. The evening waiter was very friendly and the breakfast staff were always attentive and the breakfast buffet was extensive and great quality and variety. Overall an excellent stay. Thank you.

Messaged Hotel for directions from airport,a few days ago no reply.Late checking due to flight delays and unable to locate Hotel. No refreshments available only water.Minibar empty.Went to shower in am ,wet in shower no shower gel or shampoo, container empty Also noticed light was out above shower.Breakfast was varied ,no one there to take room no or give directions on first morning.Plates cold and food luke warm then put on a cold plate.Chairs were big and cramped together, making returning to buffet difficult.I left to go eat outside. No slippers provided or bathrobe.I did manage to sleep.Bed was comfortable and room was quiet.Due to many, attention to detail issues I would rather this as a Hotel 3*

We stayed here for 3 nights to escape the heat of Budapest, the resort is beautiful and well looked after. There is very little we could fault, the only exceptions was a rude man working at the spa who made us feel like we were interrupting his peace, and the automatic 15% service charge added whenever ordering anything from the spa. We asked for an icecream which they took from a freeze in the back room and yes 15% service charge added. The food was lovely for breakfast, and the dinner was good too, though the service was a bit slow, especially when you have children with you. Would definitely come back again though!

Loved it!

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, and I travel a *LOT*, worldwide, mostly for my work as a researcher & academic. The staff here were outstandingly helpful. Very rarely have I found staff that were this polite, helpful, and capable. Sadly don't recall their names, but the front desk staff helped with several issues I had with billing particularities that were specific to my situation. I also found the Hotel to be conveniently located, very well maintained. And, finally, the brunch is excellent, and well worth it.

We had a great time in Budapest and Hotel Rum is a great base in the city. In the day everything is super walkable or easy to see via public transport. At night the hotel feels tucked away from the bars and clubs. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a city break hotel. The room was spotless and the staff was helpful and there are some really nice coffee shops within about 200 metres too which is always a plus!

The apartment itself was beautiful and we'll located. Clean and stylish. It had most amenities you would need for 3+ days, very roomy and we'll decorated. It even had remoted blackout curtains, which was a nice feature. However, the downside was that our room was very noisy. Our room faced the street and you heard people talking, sometimes yelling on the street. There was also garbage workers making lots of noise at 5 am. One night there was loud music playing until midnight. The entrance could have been cleaner and the sight of a rat trap was disconcerting. Overall the place was great value.
