In that aspect we didn’t care for too much but everything else was great. The food and drinks were good and the dock was within a 3-4 minute walking distance if you wanted to take a boat to another town. The staff at the hotel is very polite and always eager to assist. They also have a private and shared car services in the event you wanted to travel to Antigua or elsewhere. There is a bar next door that does play music until about 1030-11pm most nights. I would stay here again. (1,001 reviews) Our family stay was wonderful at the hotel. Service at hotel was amazing very attentive and helpful. The room was on the smaller size but was very clean and accommodated us with 2 beds for 4 people as other hotels wanted us to get 2 separate rooms. The restaurant for breakfast at hotel was delicious (not the buffet one). Wish the pool was heated for the little ones but my son still got in, we also went in February so it’s a little chillier at nights.my son loved the playground and bubbles they were offering for kids activities. We can't say enough of our stay at Kaalpul, very peaceful and isolated while still easily connected to the little towns around the lake. Food and attention was amazing as well as the friendliness of the staff, kitchen and bar. We look forward to staying there again, with our family next time.
