Outstanding hotel in every way! Great location to walk everywhere. Staff over the top friendly and extremely helpful and pleasant. Excellent customer service! Would highly recommend and will stay there whenever I return to Strasbourg.

Air con worked well, which was good during such a heatwave. Bar service was a bit chaotic and meal service was poor. Staff are clearly untrained in the correct way to serve meals. They would reach accross and in front of meals served to diners to deliver to the next person, instead of going around and serving from behind. This resulted in me catching a creme brulé as it flew off the servers tray as they reached accross in front of the person next to me. Most of the creme brulé stayed in the dish, but some ended up on me. After some apology from the server they retrieved the dish, went back to the kitchen and brought out a replacemnt dish, only to serve it in the same way, this time without dropping it on me. Clearly MUCH more staff training need in the resteraunt area needed. They were also in a bit of a muddle when it came to working out the bill for 7 people. Could do better. Car parking was OK.

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Rohan. It's literally thirty steps from the Cathedral, and minutes away from maybe a dozen nice restaurants and cafes, so we easily went out and went back to the hotel to pick up things we forgot, wanted to drop off, or just to put our feet up to reconsider out next move. To get to Petit France on one side and the Neustadt/Place de la Republique on the other side were both within 15 minutes of the hotel and very pleasant walks on the river bank or through wonderful cobblestones streets with more shops and cafes. The staff were kind, we mostly talked with George at the reception who checked us in and worked every evening we were there. He was very welcoming and kind - we checked in daily with him for restaurant recommendations and followed a couple of them and both were very good. Our Superior Double room was very reasonably sized for European standards and especially since we were right in the center of the old town one might have anticipated smaller rooms. The other very nice thing about the room was the large amount of shelf and storage space in the room and in the bathroom so we were able to lay out our things and settle in for the stay. The night tables are quite small, and the lamps are pretty low quality plastic and falling apart - easily addressable issues that I encourage the hotel to fix. The bed was comfortable, and the room and hallway was quiet. We did not dine at the hotel, but the dining area looks modern and quite nice.

Very pleasantly surprised by this apartment-hotel. Strasbourg is quite an expensive place to stay but this property was reasonably priced in comparison. The room had a kitchenette, bath/shower, TV, and all the other amenities you need, there was also small but decent swimming pool in the property which we had to ourselves. When we discovered that there was no iron in our room, Stefano the receptionist was quick to find us one. Stefano was also very polite and welcoming and definitely added to the overall quality of our stay. I have stayed in a lot of places around the world and this was genuinely one of the most pleasant.

All staff at the front desk were exceptionally helpful. We had the 4 single bed room which was ideal for us.

Small rooms but good for 1 or 2 nights.
