Isla Fuerte Fishing Vacations

Was accused of smoking in the room which I was not, I was in the shower. Security said someone complained of smoke, then he said you can smell in the lobby from the 7th floor and then he said the smoke detector went off silently in the room with the sprinkler system not engaged. No visible smoke in the room and they stayed over 5 mins while I stood there naked in a towel saying it smell like smoke. I showed them the bathroom where I just got out of the shower bc they were knocking and made me late for dinner. I didn't smell anything at all especially in the hall but how do I disprove a smell

It is a great place to relax and unwind. It is a small island; the hotel has only eight guest rooms and welcomes day trippers between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. After 3:00 p.m., the island is left entirely to the overnight guests. During my stay, there were only four guests, which I loved. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spotless, and the air conditioning worked well; the views, food, and cocktails were all excellent, and I give the service a 10 overall. The only thing I would recommend improving is communication regarding transportation. We had a minor issue, but they handled it professionally. I also think the island is best suited for couples; I was traveling with a friend and thought it would be easy to switch to a room with two beds, but I was told that all the rooms had only one bed, though I didn't mind sharing the bed with my friend. Aura far exceeded all expectations!!! The place is so spectacularly beautiful and the staff is beyond professional, helpful, friendly and fun. To anyone planning a trip to Cartagena, I HIGHLY recommend taking a few days to relax at this very special place.

Our stay at the Four Seasons Cartagena was nothing short of spectacular. The property is well designed, centrally located and have all the amenities that made our stay so comfortable. The rooms were pristine and cofee and breakfast were well made and delicious ! Most of all, the staff made us feel most at home. From Daniel who welcomed us, Juliet/Yulieth and Onoris at Patio Limonar to Andres and Angely from the coffee bar Rialto- all of them made our visit most memorable !

It is a charming colonial house, tastefully decorated, with a good breakfast and an excellent location. Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant incident during check-in due to the receptionist’s incompetence, which unfortunately put a damper on our stay at the hotel. In addition all the noise carries into the rooms.
