Alonso a golf cart driver and staff member helped me along with my Spanish and made me feel special. They didn’t get all five stars because there was no furniture on the balcony at all as the photos showed. The kitchen could use a few more supplies like a pancake or egg flipper etc. also the dryer did not work. When we called for a ride on the golf cart front desk says “he’s on his way”. We ran outside to sweat for half an hour before going back in. After calling twice more, they finally got us over an hour and a half later. They do need to tell us up front they’re busy and it would have been fine. You can tell everyone is trying hard to make it an outstanding experience. Carlos took excellent care of us as well. Our neighbors Omar and Dean were the ones who made sure we had an incredible experience. I would absolutely go back. Most expensive place we stayed in Panama. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with balconies that overlook the stunning grounds with all sort of trees and plants that attract birds. The staff is welcoming and accomodating. The waitresses at the Monkey Bar were patient with our bad Spanish (they all speak much better English). The free night time tour was very fun and there are so many cool hikes that you can walk to. In addition to birds we saw Geoffroy's tamarin (a small monkey), agouti, coati, and a lot of neat lizards.
