Île-Grande Fishing Vacations

Fun, quirky hotel. Grounds are well kept, with many interesting art installations. Check restaurant opening times before booking. We were disappointed that the main restaurant was closed during our stay.

First day in France and we were welcomed by the staff warmly. The room was clean, nice size and quiet. Morning came and breakfast was also a good experience with good choice to eat. They made us love France!

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice although it felt a bit small. The bathroom was tight but fully functional with a nice shower.

The best thing about this hotel is the view. The rooms are ok (carpet a bit old, bathrooms could use remodelling) and on the small side. Pool was nice but very small and narrow and not particularly warm, so we didn’t stay in very long. The pool has a great view over the water and the views from the hotel rooms are stunning. The breakfast was quite basic with not many options and cost €35 plus fees. Overall the hotel and breakfast were not good value. The staff member who offered to give us a ride to our next hotel was very helpful. It wasn’t clear where to go to get the ferry and we did ask staff questions about the ferry routes, etc., but perhaps there was a language barrier. There’s a way to walk directly from the ferry terminal to the hotel, which we discovered ourselves on the way back! Staff didn’t offer to book any excursions for us. The price didn’t seem to match the luxury experience we expected. (My friend’s room was over $700 a night, mine was $548). Great views and the wine and cocktails are highly recommended!

Room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food and wine were superb. Breakfast was varied and plenty of local products. A very enjoyable stay.

All good staff helpful and pleasent. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent massive choice fot breakfast and attention to detail was very good.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Mont Saint Michel - a perfectly unobstructed view of the Mont, with fast and easy shuttle service, comfortable, clean room with a bar and restaurant on site. All we could ask for!
