The Catskills Golf Vacations

The place is clean and there is a lovely view in the morning. It has been recently renovated, maybe partially because some of the fixtures still look pretty old. Based on signage somewhere on the grounds there is WiFi but we could not find a network when we arrived and there was no information left in the room. Not a big deal since we didn’t need WiFi anyway. Our biggest problem was with the check in. Hotels.com claims we should have received an email with check-in instructions and an access code. We never got an email from the property and they did not return our call for over an hour, during which time we were on hold with hotels.com trying to arrange another hotel stay and ensure we would not be charged for this one. We eventually received a call from the property with very simple check-in instructions, which they should have emailed. Instead of leaving at a reasonable hour for a long drive followed by an early morning were delayed over an hour wondering if we’d be able to get into our room. This is otherwise a nice, clean no frills place.

We stayed for several nights but did not use any of the amenities. Upon arrival the smell in the hallways was off-putting as if someone was making food in their room. When we arrived at our room it was tidy but not clean. There is no attention to the small details. The construction of the room and bathroom specifically was shoddy. Would not return.
