En pleine canicule nous avons occupé la chambre 501 dont la climatisation était défectueuse. Le technicien l’a constaté et n’a pas réussi à la réparer. La soufflerie étant insuffisante l’air frais n’arrivait pas jusqu’au lit et nous avons donc dû dormir à même le sol sous le filet d’air de la climatisation.
La fenêtre étant bloquée impossible de ventiler !
La directrice a nié le problème et cette nuit horrible ne nous a même pas ét é remboursée !

Château de Fère is set in an extraordinary location, and the setting alone makes it well worth a stop. The historic château and its grounds have a real sense of grandeur that is difficult to find elsewhere.
The hotel itself is a little tired in places, but everything is perfectly functional. In many ways, that adds to its character and authenticity, rather than feeling like another polished but generic five star chain hotel.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly throughout our stay. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return.

"Veldig koselig og idyllisk sted! Et perfekt utgangspunkt for utflukter langs kysten. Barna likte spesielt godt dyrelivet like utenfor verandaen, hvor det er mange ulike typer ender og andre fugler. Praktisk med et lite supermarked på stedet, enkel adkomst og ingen problem med sen innsjekk og tidlig ..."
