They had overbooked, so when we arrived to check in our rooms were gone. We were told "these things happen" and offered options in various other parts of Dublin which didn't suit, . I was charged though - which will be refunded but not the point. I'm sure it's not the fault of the staff we met, who did offer what they're legally obliged to offer, but it would have helped if They had just been honest about it from the start. Hotel is rough enough, very basic but location used to be an attraction. Will never book Clayton again knowing now that they overbook. I'm pretty sure they will survive without my custom, but just wanted to let other people know, we were travelling with 3 kids so it was a pain

My mother and I had a great sleep, beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was so big. We enjoyed our breakfast together. The food and choices were great. Having a restaurant downstairs and next door really gives you plenty of choices.

Room was big , staff where helpful , amazing breakfast and free outdoor and indoor parking . The only thing we did not like is that the room have no AC and only a fan which kept the room hot . Not ideal in warm weather .

This hotel is the best! It's quaint and well-maintained with a great staff! Love the entertainment in the evenings and the short distance to the bus stop! We traveled all around from this area and had a great time!

Location was good, but need to taxi to get to main attractions. Food was ok, just mediocre for a bnb. The beds/pillows need updating. Pillows were like pancakes. Carpets in the main gathering area and stairs need cleaning. Overall a pleasant stay and quiet.
