Our only complaint about the room itself was very low Water pressure in shower. However, please know, this is a lively area and our room’s windows opened above the street for air flow. If you are jet lagged and need sleep, this is likely not the place to stay. It was very very loud out there. The food (highly recommend adding on the breakfast to your stay) was sooo good and off the bat they ask if you want coffee or tea and bring you your own kettle of whichever. My only knock is the flooring is dated and our toilet didn’t fully flush. But this was not enough of a deterrent. We would still stay here again! "Stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and beautiful and the atmosphere of the castle setting and all of its historical pieces made it that much more memorable. We will definitely be returning, especially to see our favourite breakfast manager Leandro Silva."

"Checked in by a very friendly young Spanish man,I rate his attitude ten out of ten.Sadly when I visited reception to book an alarm call the American receptionist was not very friendly and the alarm call did not happen.When leaving another receptionist could offer no explanation for this.Needless to say alarm calls are crucial for travellers."
