Food was good, staff very attentive and pleasant. Bar prices expensive. Good location, rooms dated and in need of investment. I’ve stay in more modern and luxurious hotels on half board for less than what we paid here on a room only price.

Very nice and well preserved traditional property. Elegant without pretension.

Building we stated in was detached from main hotel newer construction. Check out and check in process was efficient and effortless. Great all around experience.

We had a great stay at the G. The hotel is just outside of the city center, close enough to walk, easy enough to grab a car and be there in a few minutes. There is a small shopping center directly behind the hotel if you need anything. The staff is incredibly helpful with anything you need or just to have a chat. The lounge and restaurant are beautifully appointed with nice views of lake. The food is some of the best food we ate in London and Ireland. The rooms are spacious and clean and have great space to hang your clothes and put everything away so you feel at home. We would highly recommend staying at the G while in Galway!

This hotel is amazing. Everything is beautiful. Would without doubt recommend.

Place lives like a palace. Immaculate grounds with acres and acres of rolling golf greens. Wish there was a workout room. Ideal for golfers.

Great spa facilities and restaurant. Easy uber ride into town. Breakfast was delicious on both days!! Highly recommend.

The staff were so lovely and accommodating! Our room was luxurious and we had a lovely view of the river. They even put a happy birthday dessert plate in the room for my husband- very kind! I do want to say that the leisure/pool center was quite a disappointment. It is very outdated and so dirty that I didn't even end up putting my suit on to use the facilities. The whole center could really use some updating and TLC. My family lives locally and used to have a membership to the facility but had to cancel it due to the run down conditions. All this aside though- the hotel, the staff, the restaurant and the bar are excellent! Just don't bring your swimsuit :)

Clean room, bar, good food! Would recommend the breakfast!
