Had a great time with the family inc young kids. Lots of pool time and beautiful views of the volcano. It rained a lot, as expected, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves at all. We kept most of the activities to the AM and hung around the property in the PM.

Absolutely beautiful resort. The bathroom is fabulous. The bed is comfortable and the fireplace takes a chill off in the evening. The food in the restaurants is good with lots of choices. The grounds are very well maintained. The view is awesome and the park is amazing.

We had the absolute best time the second we arrived! We arrived after a 3 hour drive from San Jose and immediately greeted by reception with 3 refreshing welcome drinks that were delicious! We were then shown a toucan with a telescope by the pool which was such a nice way to begin the trip. We ate lunch at the Bosque restaurant until our room was ready and enjoyed our lunch, drinks and desert! Once we checked into our room we were all in awe as this was by far the top 3 room/properties we have vacationed in. We enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzi and after jumped into our amazing shower! The property offers nightly nature walks at 6:30pm to see all the reptiles and animals who are immersed around the property. We enjoyed breakfast on property every day as this was also included in our stay. Overall this was an amazing place to be, we highly recommend, we also have a lot of inspiration for design to bring back into our homes. Lastly, I was able to enjoy a relaxing 90 minute massage and facial mask which was again an amazing experience, especially as you can hear the nature and rain in addition to spa music. 100/10 would recommend, we did stay in the jungle luxe tent for reference.

From the moment we got to the hotel until we left, the staff were wonderful. My family and I were greeted with freshly made juice blend that was delicious and our bags were taken to our room. We booked activities prior to arriving but wish we hadn’t because they help you with all of that as well, which includes transportation to and from the hotel. I highly recommend the night walk and zip line activities. We had to leave early in the morning due to an early afternoon flight out of San Jose, and they even packed us. Breakfast to go for that as well. My wife and I are looking forward to coming back as this was a very peaceful place. We took our six year old daughter and she loved it as well. It rained the entire time we were there but it does say cloud forest after all, so in a way, that was expected. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Our stay at Gaia Hotel & Reserve was wonderful, but what truly made it exceptional was the outstanding level of service. From the moment we arrived, we were incredibly impressed by the warmth, professionalism, and genuine attentiveness of the entire staff. You can tell that providing exceptional service is part of the culture of this hotel. Everyone made us feel welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease throughout our stay. A few people especially stood out: Chris at the front desk and concierge was fantastic—always attentive, knowledgeable, and ready to help. Oscar was wonderful from the moment we arrived, helping with our luggage and transporting us around the property with such kindness and a great attitude. The restaurant staff was equally impressive, especially Abraham and Jack, along with the rest of the team, who were consistently warm, helpful, and attentive. The property itself is beautiful, but for us, the people were the true highlight. Exceptional hospitality and a level of service that we will absolutely remember. Thank you to the entire Gaia team for making our stay in Manuel Antonio so special!

I don't even know where to start. This place was PERFECTION! The staff in the entire hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, I feel that they are all our friends now. The food at the restaurant is amazing, people come visit from outside the hotel just to dine at the restaurant. The pools are sooo nice, and that is a highlight for me because my husband hates getting into pools, I literally had never seen him enjoy a pool the was he did in this hotel. We didn't have to share it with other guests when we went in and it just feels very peaceful and the views are breathtaking. The day we checked out I literally thought he would not get out of the pool so we could leave. The servers at the restaurant and pool bar were very nice and we enjoyed having conversations with them, Abraham, Anthony and Ricardo. The bell guys, the tour guide, our concierge, it just feels like they're all a family. The room was super comfortable and spacious, we had a view even from the shower with a giant window, plus a balcony and a huge rooftop for ourselves. They offer a complimentary tour of the property that is about 6 acres of preserved forest where you can see monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, among many other birds and species.
