Communication from the hotel wasn’t great. I booked two consecutive nights at the hotel, on two different occasions - originally booked for Saturday night only as we were attending a dress-up 50th birthday party nearby, then booked the Friday night as well, so we could relax on the Saturday and not feel rushed. Despite leaving messages for them prior to arrival, saying we are staying for two nights and can they please put us in the same room for both nights, they obviously didn’t read it and we had to change rooms. No upgrade, no free breakfast or anything just ‘oh sorry’. Really average service, sadly. In addition, woken up early on Saturday morning due to drilling sounds in the walls - they sent us about six messages prior to stay re building work next door, but said it was Mon-Fri only. Partner mentioned it to reception, they said ‘oh, it happens sometimes when they’re behind schedule…’ - maybe add that to your courtesy letter? Not quite the level of service for the price being charged. Rooms are nice enough though and handy location.

Beautiful accommodation and amenities. Walls aren't the most sound proof but clean and in a good location
