Lanzarote Honeymoon Packages

Good points: we were given a complimentary upgrade. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good, very clean with an excellent shower. The sangria was nice. Not so good points: Wallpaper was pealing off the wall. Extremely high prices for drinks with our meal. Only water was free in the evening. A small glass of any soft drinks was 6€. The hotel is vast, and I found it difficult to get back to our room initially, but we were only there for one night. For us, the music around the pool was too loud, and the sunlounger areas were heaving with people, so we went to the beach instead. Despite giving our credit card details on check in, we obviously had communication difficulties as we ended up paying for every drink by credit card. We will not be returning to this hotel.

It is close to local shops. Staff are friendly and helpful. Quick access to the airport. Not enough kids entertainment.

The property was beautiful. It was easy to maneuver if you need some assistance. They did a great job making it feel that it was in a place on its own, even thought it was walking distance to everything. The breakfast was amazing, with the buffet being well spread out and/ or you can order off the à la cart menu… or both. The resturant(s) at the hotel had a great selection and we enjoyed the meals that we had. I would recommend the reservation at the time of check in for the tasting menu. We had not and missed the experience. Note: the water you need to pay for, a suggestion is to go down to the supermarket and pick up some bottles, much less expensive. You can also pick up some drinks and put them in the fridge that is available in your room, One of the downfalls is the pool. It was only about 3 to 4 feet deep and you cannot swim a length as it was small and during our stay it was extremely hot and would enjoyed to be in the pool a little longer, however the pool was quite busy and hard to maneuver around the people. Overall great stay.

A Bit Underwhelmed We were disappointed with our stay at Secrets Lanzarote. We chose it for the reputation of the Secrets brand and had high expectations, but the experience did not feel as premium as anticipated. The distinction between standard and Preferred guests was particularly frustrating. The best pool and many premium facilities appeared to be reserved for Preferred guests, while numerous additional experiences and amenities came at an extra cost. This made us feel like secondary guests rather than valued customers. We also struggled to find sunbeds in the morning, found the towel system inconvenient, and rarely used the main pool because it was extremely cold despite being advertised as heated. Pool service was limited, with staff rarely checking whether we wanted drinks, and food was not permitted by the pool, meaning we had to leave whenever we wanted a snack. Housekeeping was the biggest disappointment. Toiletries and room amenities were often not replenished unless requested through the app, and some requests had to be repeated several times. This was not what we expected from a hotel of this standard. Overall, the hotel fell short of the premium experience we expected from the Secrets brand. Service, housekeeping and the treatment of standard guests all need improvement.
