The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even watch for the aurora and if it’s active will give you a wake up call. We were able to see them clearly from our patio. The room was nice and clean and had a great bathroom which was not the case at our other accommodations. The room did get warm but can open window. The breakfast was good and had a lot of options. We would stay here again.

Excellent location for access to the Golden Circle and the south shore of Iceland. Beautiful full kitchen. 15min drive to Selfoss for excellent dinning. This cottage was an excellent find.

You can really see the northern lights just right from the hotel, and what a dream come true! The hotel has a very charming horse theme too, and the horses are so close! I had a great experience, and cannot reiterate enough how incredible and convenient it was to be able to step outside and see the lights.
