The hotel is conveniently located near Dam Square. It is within walking distance to central station or hotel guests can take a tram for 2 stops before reaching it. The staff are friendly and helpful. When we first checked in, we were given a choice of either a room at street level facing the busy main road or a more quiet one at the side. We chose the latter but soon found out that the drainage in the bathroom was poor. Every time after shower, the whole tiled floor in the bathroom was flooded as water passed very slowly. The bedroom itself was spacious enough but, like most hotel rooms, was not brightly lit. The buffet breakfast offered a sufficient variety of food but no fresh fruit, only tinned ones. Stephen Yan

Great hotel with best service

The hotel was very clean. We stayed for 4 nights and booked a family room with one queen-size bed and two single beds, which was perfect for our family of 4. There are several supermarkets nearby, and a large shopping mall is about a 10-minute walk away, so it’s very convenient for shopping and getting food. The transportation is also quite convenient, as there is a metro station right next to the hotel. The hotel provides housekeeping and fresh bed linen every 3 days, which I think is a very reasonable schedule. I really appreciate this approach, as it’s convenient while also being more environmentally friendly. For larger families, I think this is a great value option outside Amsterdam city centre.

I had a fantastic stay at Pulitzer Amsterdam. The location is exceptional—right in the beautiful canal district and within walking distance of the Anne Frank House, the Nine Streets, Jordaan, and many of Amsterdam’s best museums. Exploring the city on foot was effortless.
