The employees were the best of all our hotels. They were so friendly. Super helpful booking reservations, guiding us where to go. The hotel is gorgeous. We felt like we were boarding the titanic with all the beautiful wooden stairs and piano playing! Loved all the live music. Every single employee was so friendly. Location is perfect for exploring the area. Didn’t eat the breakfast bc we were only here one day, but it looked and smelled delicious. Room was nice and clean, but one of the beds felt like the frame or box spring was broken bc my husband and I both rolled to the center! We ended up putting our kids in that bed and it was ok for them.

Unfortunately the name of the property was not Yoo by Wynwood. It is P. H. Yoo Panama & Arts Tower. This detail that was incorrect cost us time, money and stress at the beginning of our trip. We weren't able to get in touch with anyone at the property or at expedia and we ended up having to cross reference google photos to figure out the correct name and address of the location. This took us about an hour to do in a Country that we had never been to. We are very displeased with Expedia about this. We still have not been contacted by anyone.

The room itself was the best part. Super comfy beds and really spacious. The bad - the shower door didn’t seal so the floor was constantly covered in soaking wet towels. As other reviewers have stated - there’s nothing special about the food. The breakfast buffet is worth adding for the extra $11. Def not worth $22 per person though. We ate at the buffet once for dinner and it was pretty awful. We ate at fuego and it was way over priced for the quality of food. Same goes for the starfish place. But one thing they all had in common was terrible service. Though, as we move around to different areas (we’re now in Casco Viejo) and the service here is pretty awful as well. I don’t think anyone here hustles for tips. It’s weird. As for location - you aren’t going to do anything out at the Westin, so staying there kind of seems pointless. Where we are staying now is a cool area that you can walk around and there’s tons of shopping and food and stuff to do. And all the excursions we did while at playa Bonita, we could have just done from here. Highly recommend the monkey and sloth tour. By far the best bag for your buck at $30/person for 5ish hours! Ok back to hotel - as others have said, beach is terrible. Low tide seems to last forever and it goes out sooooo far. And you aren’t left with sand and tide pools, you’re left with mud and grossness. Do not stay here if you’re trying to have a beach experience. Anyway, I would recommend staying elsewhere - casco viejo has been great!

We stayed one night and it exceeded our expectations. The owners were incredibly friendly and easy to contact, making us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The homemade breakfast was a highlight—absolutely delicious and full of flavor. We will stay again longer next time.
