8.6/10 Excellent! (218 reviews)
Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed with the condition of Elk Forge. Many years ago in the early 2010s, the facility was beautiful and now it just seems run down. We did not look for any reviews because we had assumed it was still the same. It seems maybe new owners have taken over the property and starting from scratch to get it up and running. We had a nice evening, slept well in the Philadelphia room, but the facility is old, the breakfast was not great. It's definitely not what it once was. Hopefully the new owners can bring it back to life.

"Other than the view, the property was in need of an update and nothing worth praising. Front desk staff were not friendly or sociable at all during check in. Looked mad that they even had to be there. The property seems like it is from the 70s/80s and it never had been updated. Lights with bad bulbs ..."
