The property was very clean with a great view. The only downside were the lodge restaurants… very slow service although the food was good once we got it.

The staff was fantastic … helpful and jovial. The room was spacious and clean.

We have stayed at this location several times and although it is a lovely hotel, there is always something that needs a bit of work or we have an issue with. This particular stay we upgraded on our second night to a riverview room with a fire pit, paying an additional $115. It was a colder evening and we enjoyed the fire pit very much but needed the heater in the bedroom when we went to bed. It was well after midnight once we went to bed and unfortunately the heater made a terrible sound and it kept us up most of the night. We would have asked to switch rooms but with it being our last night and so late we suffered through it and let the front desk know at checkout.
