Southeast Michigan Pet-friendly Vacations

This was easily one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. The entire place felt dirty, neglected and poorly maintained. The room smelled unpleasant, as did the hallways, and the bathroom specifically smelled like urine. We were so uncomfortable with the cleanliness that we kept our shoes on the entire time. The bathroom was particularly bad. The toilet seat was visibly stained, the floors and edges looked dirty and worn, and nothing about it felt properly cleaned. The windows were absolutely filthy. Even the entrance door had a significant gap around it where you could see light from the hallway, which didn’t inspire confidence in the maintenance or security of the room. The room was extremely dated with a bizarre raised tiled area and steps beside the sleeping area. The AC worked, but given the overall condition, we questioned how well things like the filters were maintained. Breakfast was stale cereal, and after seeing the condition of the property, we didn’t trust the milk enough to eat it. The staff were very nice, however, this place needs to be condemned. It’s truly awful. Being older or budget-friendly is NOT the issue. A hotel can be dated and still be clean and maintained. This was not. We have photos and video documenting the condition during our stay. Would absolutely not stay here again.
