Cano Island Pet-friendly Vacations

Loved the layout of the hot springs on site, very secluded feeling, and extremely safe. I loved the area with tiered temperatures where would go to what we called “lava hot” and go down to subsequently cooler levels as needed for comfort. I was a little concerned about how frequently they were cleaned (there was a food item in the hot spring with the walk up bar and I did not see anyone skimming or vacuuming during our stay), but I suspect that would be the same at all the hot spring resorts. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The property was easy to reach and we enjoyed some incredible nearby outings. We had a massage which we enjoyed. The skillset of the masseuse may not have been the best, but the sound of the little waterfall and the rainforest was exactly like the soundtracks playing in high end spas - and it was real! That encompasses the trip. We saw toucans flying overhead, lizards and toads, turkeys and peacocks. It was an incredible stay and the whole family enjoyed it.

We loved this hotel. The staff really made our experience so enjoyable. Jeisson went out of his way to walk onto the sloth trail with us and point out 2 families of sloths. Dennis, Stephen, Josue, Rolando, and Alan all went out of their way to check on us and make sure the kids had smoothies at all times. Lol. We saw armadillos and sloths right outside our casitas. We didn’t need any bug spray. And the environment was so peaceful and calm. We will 100% stay at Noah’s again!! Thank you to all the staff for being so kind, helpful, and accommodating to us!!

What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!

The staff is so wonderful. Kind, funny and helpful. Views are unbelievable and it is worth the trip up there!

Room was clean and spacious, large bathroom, shuttle staff were very friendly. Had a great view from room and able to see lots of different wildlife - recommend watching sunset and night tour - was disappointed had to pay additional $20 to hike trail at the top of the hill. Breakfast buffet was ok - traditional Costa Rica breakfast options. Wish the pool bar was opened longer to have time to swim and relax after done with tourist attractions and supper

We loved our stay at Chachagua! The room was beautiful and we felt immersed in the rainforest, while relaxing in luxery accomodations. The staff was amazing, the hot springs and river slide were definite highlights. Highly recommend and would say that it's worth the drive.

We had a fantastic stay loved the boat ride to the lodge, rooms were spacious, lovely big bathroom Balcony had a lovely swinging seat overlooking the river Breakfasts were fruit plus fish of your choice and was excellent Trails around the hotel were great to see frogs and birds We did a fantastic magical kayaking trip which is a must We visited national park to see turtles laying eggs, unfortunately she Borykng the hole before laying eggs but we did see the turtle going back to the sea and the hole shed dug, still a memorable experience A highlight were the iguanas lounging around the pool with us and the macaws hanging out in the trees
