For example - the gym - it has reasonable equipment but not the add on bits that expand there use.
We booked a classic suite which we took to be the one shown in their website and which we had had on the previous visit but our suite was very small, so disappointed .

Friendly staff, bilingual but also helped us learn som Italian. Nice hotel away from the busy flow of Ventimiglia, but closer enough to be accessible. As many have noted, the hotel sits atop a mountain-- spectacular views-- so the drive up (we used taxis or the bus) is "fun"! We enjoyed the pool, breakfasts on the terrace, and the turtles. A nice spot to get away and perhaps better with ones own car--next time.
